And so we're finally done with exams and its slack times for us now (: We've been slacking like no one's business for the past 2 days in school. We've had like one hour of PE in the morning, and then no teacher bothers to come into our class, so we spend what are supposedly chinese and maths blocks sitting around doing practically nothing. :D

So we had Aces day and Teacher's Day celebs today. Aces was.. muddy. Thank goodness I decided to wear the lousy cheapo shoes that mum insisted I get before OBS in case I didn't have any shoes for school after that. I didn't want to wash my dunks again XD Celebs were pretty good, though to be honest I think our juniors are kinda sad. We had.. was it four dances? and one performance by rythmic gym, one by sec4ELD batch. So only the gym and ELD performances were good. The dances were just bad. Don't dance if you can't, or at least choreograph moves that everyone can do?

Hoho but the teacher's skit was totally hilarious and I loved it. It was kind of a parody of RGS, where this class of really havoc boys basically pissed the teachers off and got one class booking per lesson, per day. It was hilarious cos they had these banners that said like "Class Booking I" and "Class booking II" and they'd unroll them and take pictures with them :D They were really good, loved the teachers cos they were totally awesome and its a side of them you don't usually get to see. The teacher's skit pwned all the other performances and its sad how the teachers had to entertain themselves on their day, but they were srsly sooper awesome. Oh and James Ong FTW! He's like so cool as the sleepy bad boy. He entered the skit in the beginning with his tie around his head like a bandanna, and Litying and I were like OMG WE CRUSH JAMES ONG! :D Shall upload the picture with him when Vinna sends it to me (: And yeah Sean Yeoh was great great as the heck care Yeoh Watsup too! Awesome awesome awesome. They'd have been given rave reviews I think. The script was great too. Great ending to a hectic term I guess.

Have been entertaining myself by reading all our old Tintin comics that mom dug out of the closet recently. Tintin ftw! He's really cool and stuff, and this is the kind of thingthat you do when you have absolutely nothing else to do but some math, chinese and training. And have a LOT of free time to kill in between. I skipped training yesterday cos I went to sleep at 3, meaning to wake up at 4 to get ready for training, but ended waking up at 8 instead. How cool is that. So I'll go tmr I guess. Sorry for pangsehing you though XD It was VP though so thank goodness I missed it. Srsly 40x50's are crazy. One max, one easy, two max, two easy, three max, three easy, four max, four easy, two sets. Like OMG. Its better than 30x50 dive max still I guess. Ah alright back to Tintin and Oreos with milk (:

Okay done with Chem for the day today, and effectively its already Saturday, but yeah whatever.

I'd just like to say that the lit paper today was not good not good. ): I saw the THT question and I was like, "Okay that isn't as bad as I thought it would be!" So I happily started writing, and left myself about 50 mins for the poem, which I figured couldn't be too bad. It is poetry, afterall. When I flipped to the poem though, all I could think was "OMG WHAT ON EARTH IS THIS." And various other thoughts auch as "OHMYGOD AM I JUST STUPID OR WHAT BECAUSE I DON'T GET THE MESSAGE OF THE POEM." and "CRAP WHY IS EVERYONE WRITING. AM I MISSING SOMETHING HERE. MUST BE. READ AGAIN!" and "HECK LA. I'LL PROB FAIL THIS ANYWAY. SO I'LL JUST CRAP SOMETHING TO MAKE MY PAPER LONGER.". Well, yes you get the picture. After the exam though, I realise everyone had had thoughts along those lines running through their heads too. Not that it made me feel better or anything, seeing as I had just messed my last lit paper of the year up, but still.

We cornered Mr Sakhar after the exam, and well I shan't say too much here, but basically we were slightly more appeased when we heard that everyone had had problems, and no, it wasn't just us being dumb, and well yes other stuff which we shall not disclose. Sakhar rocks anyhow. (:

So yup that was the main highlight of my day. I'll be srsly mugging chemystery the whole of tmr and Sunday, AND Monday, Because who gives a crap about Chinese when your chem grade is hanging not just by a thread, but by a sliver of a thread? THIS IS HILARIOUS SRSLY.

Okay second post today because I've decided to do what Rachie did and post my letter for Jaan here too. YAO YOU CAN COPY AND PASTE FROM HERE.

Jaan has been my coach since he came at the end 2004. At that time, I wasn't a very good swimmer, and making the SEA Age team was anything but a reality for me. Further, I was getting very sick of swimming, and used to hope that it would rain, or that there would be a traffic jam on the way so that I would be able to miss even 10 minutes of training. I think this attitude changed drastically shortly after Jaan began coaching us. Being a self-motivated athlete is, of course, essential, but I believe that the attitude of the coach also plays a large part in enhancing the athlete's passion, as well as prowess in the sport. I think Jaan managed to do all this for us, in that, although (he has very honestly told us) we were a largely undisciplined squad when he came, he managed to spark in us a passion for the sport that many of us had never previously felt. Furthermore, I think his sense of humor (lame jokes etc) and his willingness to hear us out before judging us, as well as his patience in disciplining the squad has made us the closest we've ever been to a coach, and he has definitely won our respect like no other coach.

Putting personal opinions and emotions aside, I believe that Jaan has also more than accomplished the objectives set for him by the committee when he was hired in 2004. I believe the objectives included raising the club's overall position at Asean Cup, Putting more than 5 (?) swimmers on the SEA Age team, and producing a SEA Games swimmer (okay I'm not sure if this one is right). As far as we know, SSC has risen more than one position in the Asean Cup ranking since Jaan came. Furthermore, SSC had way more than 5 swimmers on the SEA Age team this year. We had, in fact, 9 swimmers, which is almost double the number previously set to him. Lastly, we have, of course, Ng Tze Kang, who has qualified for the cat B SEA Games time. Therefore it is not to say that Jaan has failed to achieve any of the objectives set to him. On the contrary, he has raised the standard of swimming in SSC by leaps and bounds, and with the effectiveness that no other coach seemed to have after almost all of our best swimmers left the club. He has brought many of us to a standard we would never have imagined we would be able to achieve, and we feel that he certainly deserves to stay, as he is nothing else but an asset to the club.

OKAY I'm done, and I wish I wrote better, but there's nothing I can do about that. If Jaan's contract doesn't get renewed I'm going to ________. Its to early to make hasty decisions, so I won't post anything as yet. And now someone can't say that I dont't him to stay. I wrote this simply because he's my coach, and I really want him to stay. (even though I don't think this will have any bearing on the decision at all.) And people from other clubs please don't judge us, because although SSC hasn't reached the standard that many of the other clubs are at, I think we've done pretty well for ourselves, so srsly, don't judge us.

HELLOOO I actually went for 530am training this morning! :o Okay everyone can be shocked, seeing as I haven't gone in ages. It was only tech anyway, so that was good. I really need to improve my fly technique. :\

However, it just so happened that I decided to wear UNSEASONED Magli pumps out yesterday, (because they are RED, so I figured, in the spirit of our country's birthday, why not?) and ended up with 4 blisters on the back of my ankles. I therefore was in agony for mush of this morning's sessions seeing as blisters and chlorinated water really do not go very well at all. AND I couldn't use fins, so I kind of died more than everyone else. :\ Moral of the story? Don't get blisters one day and go trng the next ): (If you don't know what Magli's are, you are a noobzzz go look them up online. Their shoes pwn, right alongside Blahniks XD)

Elliott Yamin's album is really pretty good (: I like his voice :D Srsly, if anyone sang "Wait For You" to me, I'd die. Its such a sweet song, and I'm really sorry I can't get over that, but it is. Okay short digression from chemistryyyyyyyyyyyy (ROAR), so back to the books NOW.
